Marcus Jernmark is a Swedish-born chef with a rich culinary background. He made his mark as the Chef Owner of Aquavit in New York before gaining valuable experience at Per Se. Afterward, Marcus returned to Sweden to lead the kitchen at Restaurant Frantzén, where he showcased his culinary expertise. His journey then took him to Singapore, where he opened Restaurant Zén as the sister establishment to Frantzén.
Now based in California, Marcus is dedicated to his upcoming restaurants, Lielle and Marée, where he will celebrate Californian gastronomy through a Nordic and French culinary lens. With a hyper-seasonal approach, Marcus emphasizes joy and energy as guiding principles in his cooking.
