An avid outdoorsman, surfer, and fisherman, Michael Brughelli discovered his passion for wine while studying at Cal Poly. After graduating with a Wine and Viticulture degree and making wine for Kenneth Volk Vineyards for over 6 years, he was offered a Director role at Bien Nacido Vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley. From there, he co-founded Scar of the Sea Wines with a close friend and began to identify several exceptional sites with the potential for top-tier farming. After a decade of hard work in the vineyards, Michael has created his own line of BRVGHELLI wines, honoring his Swiss Italian heritage while also reflecting his personal journey and the experiences that have shaped him along the way.
